What really is the point, anyway?

Candace: What do you do at bible study, Momma?

Me: (carefully wording my answer so it is not too difficult for a four year old's brain) Oh, we read
the bible and talk about God's words and how they tell us to live a good life.

Candace: Right. And you eat cookies, too.

I think my daughter has the same idea...bible study=cookies.

The cookies are a pretty important part you know. Heck, we could read the Bible and study the word at home. Hanging out with grown-ups, and getting to eat cookies without having to share with our kids is pretty great. 8^)

Man, you all should join us some time. You'd fit right in! ;-)

Priorities, you know.
My kids know that the Secular Franciscans also enjoy a variety of baked goods :)
