ooh, praying for you. we just finished our homestudy and are waiting for provincial approval too. !! so exciting. we are now adopting two, not one as we thought! so tell me, what do you DRIVE? :) need advice. ;) darci
We drive a 2005 8 passenger 4WD Suburban, which we will sadly (because we love the vehicle--not because of our growing family!) will be selling/trading for a 12--or more likely 15 passenger van. If we can ever find one!
I pray all goes well--I can't imagine what it is like to wait for something like this. I drive a Behemoth Suburban too. The gas here is killing me but I need the hauling capacity as well as space:-)
For Jane and those who joined us in prayer RE: Prayer to st. Joseph for the Unemployed
Kimberly of Catholic family Vignettes thanks you for your prayers! She joined many families in praying the Prayer to St. Joseph. Though her husband was not unemployed, she asked that her husband's intention be included. Her husband was hoping to get a better job and he got it this week. He starts at this new job next week!
Hang in there..... If I have tried to learn anything this year...and the Holy Spirit has really been trying to teach my stubborn heart...is patience is really a virtue that all of us need to practice again and again. The only way to grow in patience is to deal with impatient situations patiently.
Wait on the Lord. He has not abandoned you. Wait on the Lord.
Yes, I remember that! However, because of all the mess that's been going on with Liberian adoptions the past 6 months-I am having a much harder time waiting for a visa appt.! We thought our boys would have been home months ago.

It's painful! The days go by so slowly. Feeling your pain and praying for you and baby too.
