She's #1!!!
Using the extremely scientific method of, "Hey kids, somebody tell me their favorite number between one and ten," to select the winner of this giveaway Mary will be happy to know that my four year old chimed back, "I really like the number one!" So, Mary, who was comment number one on that giveaway post email me at patjrsmom at yahoo dot com and I'll get the book out to you soon! A little something to enjoy as you await the birth of number six (your other lucky number!)
Thanks to everyone who shared their stories. I was so touched by all of them.

I have all of Karen's books except that one. I've gotten some from her personally at convention and she is such a neat person. She's the same in real life as she seems in her writing. I got to meet her two oldest--Kelsey and Tyler--last summer (the day before her dad has his heart attack) and they were both so talented and mature. My six-year-old adopted daughter sings to her every time we're in her line to get a book. Holds the whole line up but Karens acts like there is no one else in the room but her and Jasmine. Gotta love her for that. You can see it at http://ourhaitianadoption.blogspot.com/2007/07/book-convention-part-3.html)
Kathy, that is an awesome story! I have seen her other children's book, but don't have it. It looks like another keeper!
God Bless,
Jane
