Trash Night

Nope, this is not a misprint. Nor is it deja-vu. It is the plain, sad truth that I get to join with the ranks (albeit a much lower ranking) of CS and AG this Sunday night. My husband called from the other room last night, "You're going to have trash night duty!" Honestly, of all the things I've been trying to micro-manage, this one hadn't even occured to me. The only good thing about this is that at least one of the kids who is staying home has "Bring up the trash cans/recycle bins" on her chore cards!

TRASH NIGHT! ***I*** have Trash Night this Tuesday, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? The Army decided that 8 weeks home was more than enough so Rich is on TDY Tues-Fri next week. I hope you giggle your way through your Trash Night, such incredible rewards are on the other side of that can this time! And hey, we'll be Trash Night twins for a week!

No lie - I was THRILLED to put out the trash this morning. As trash day is Wednesday and I am *never* home on Wednesdays these days, putting out the trash after oh, maybe 6 weeks of having it pile up in the garage, was a wonderful thing. I now have an empty garage just waiting for the Thanksgiving garbage to start filling it up again. I am thinking of hiring someone to take out the garbage this week - I will not want to wait another 4 weeks until Christmas to put our the Thanksgiving carcass! LOL. Happy Thanksgiving to all - and safe travels to P & P. AND, Happy Birthday (a little early) to THE BOY! :-)

C, you are formally excused from trash duty for time served. It seems, however, that there is a warm Norwegien and a traveling Bostonian who might like to come take my trash out Sunday night...
