The scoop
Well, we just received word from our agency director that there is a delay in court, which was not really news here. The reason behind it, however, is. Apparently, the agencies have to file a license each year with the government in order to process Ethiopian adoptions. So, our agency filed what they needed, but when court re-opened, the government decided they needed MORE information. So, the additional information has been filed, but until the license is reissued there will be no news as to how soon they will be able to begin hearing cases.
Keep on hammering, Noah, we continue to build.

why you beastin, government? that's O.D!
I can only imagine how frustrating this news is. We will keep praying for you all as well as for H and T. Isn't it typical for paperwork to get in the way of progress. Soon this will all be behind you and you'll have an interesting "labor" story to tell. Those darn Braxton Hicks contractions - they can be so annoying!
What crummy news! Take comfort in the fact that all of the agency staff, both stateside and in Ethiopia, REALLY wants to get these kids home too. We had the opportunity to see how hard they all work when we traveled in April. Th Lord's timing is perfect. He even takes "Ethiopian" time into account. 8^)
Thank you to everyone for the encouragement. I know this too shall pass and I WILL be sharing my "labor" pains with other waiting families to help them in their journeys.
Miz-what does OD mean? Clearly, I don't speak jive.
