Pumpkin Picking Pilgrimage
The two littlest ones and I traveled with CB for her first ever school field trip.
For those of you in the Chicagoland area, here is the link to the pumpkin patch. Just a little of my opinion inserted here, however, there were quite a few more scary than cute things at this farm. I think the attempt was made to appeal to a wide age-group, but I'm not sure there was ANY target audience who would have appreciated everything here. Check it out yourself on their website.

great photo's Jane. We don't get pumpkin's that big here.
Looks like you guys had a great time. We took the kids to the pumpkin patch this weekend. We had just as much fun as them!
Such cute pictures. We go to the pumpkin patch field trip tomorrow. It's going to rain on us but it will be a fun day anyway....a good chance to wear boots!

I just love this time of the year and all the pumpkin/apple farm trips. I am definitely a fall girl. I'll be looking forward to seeing all your pictures, too.
And, Therese, I have to ask-do they carve jack o'lanterns for Halloween in Australia or is that only in the US? We had some friends who grew up in Jordan and went trick-or-treating there once and the neighbors thought they were beggars!

I thought I posted an answer the other day to this but must have done something wrong.
We don't really celebrate Halloween here.
Some children dress up as witches or something like that and go house to house. I haven't ever seen anyone dressed up as a saint. If anyone does it here they tend to focus on the dark side.
