To clean or not to clean

This arrived in my email late last night (HT: Dawn) and then I noticed it was also on Yahoo! as one of its featured news stories.

I can't stress enough people, all good things come from Connecticut; especially Conn College, long known for its science department and as home to many budding microbiologists, right Pettey?

Regardless of its source, check out this study. After seeing it, I'm not sure why I even bothered to mop my kitchen floor yesterday.

Now, if someone (who shall remain nameless) were to suck the coating off the Spree, er, I mean Skittles and then drop them on the floor, does that count as a wet food or a dry food?

Whoa, and that's a dining hall floor too!

Well woohooo... the new 30 second rule will make my lufe easier! ;)

It would depend on the original color of the spree, that is, skittle and if they had been chewed or only sucked on.
Cathy S, perhaps your girls might chime in on the verdict on this one?

I have no comments on the sucking of the sprees or skittles, but I did send my random Jane list to your email tonight!! I forget that you were a spree-fan. That would have been a good thing to include in my list. Oh well.
What does meme mean anyway?

The best definition I could find for what a meme is was listed on about.com and reads:

Definition: In the world of blogs and bloggers, a meme is an idea, question, statement or project that is posted in one blog and answered to in many other blogs. Memes are used to propagate ideas in the blogosphere. Some blogs or web sites post memes on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Hope that helps. And, BTW, all the emails are in and I just need to pick 8 out and post them. They're all just so darn creative it will be tough! Check back later to see if they're up!
