Guess where we spent Tuesday afternoon?
Yup, you guessed it...
At the braid shop!
Armed only with their two happy meals, the girls arrived at the shop at 11:30 and did not return home until 6:15 that evening. Ever the good sister, B spent the entire time with H!
JANE..I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS GOING TO WORK..THIS IS MY FIRST IN REPLYING , BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY YOUR GIRLS H AND B ARE JUST PRECIOUS AND OH SO BEAUTIFUL. GOD BLESS YOU. THE BRAIDS ARE LOVELY. HAVE A FUN SUMMER.LOVE, FRAN :)
I love the braids! I just had some done in the islands and they are great for keeping my hair under control in the humidity that keeps creeping up this summer. The girls look great. That is also a testament to their patience, 7 hours is a long time!
Anyway, I’m reaching out to talk to parents about the Maya & Miguel program as part of a marketing project I’m working on with Scholastic. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Maya & Miguel, a show on PBS in the afternoons -- http://pbskidsgo.org/mayaandmiguel -- that emphasizes cultural diversity and language learning.
I found your post and thought I’d reach out to say hello and ask if you’d like to receive a free Maya & Miguel DVD. If you’d like to receive the DVD just email me at Kerri at boldmouth.com with your address and I’ll have it shipped it out to you.
If you do choose to blog about Maya & Miguel show or episodes on the DVD, please make it clear how you received the information. Our goal is to be open and honest with everyone we reach.
How cool of you to show up on the blog! Thanks for your (and Becky and Faith and Kerri's) nice comments about the girl's braids. They just loved looking at their pictures on line last night and seeing the nice things everyone wrote about them...

Jane
I love her braids! Hailee always asks our neighbor to braid her hair. She thinks she does it better!
So Gorgeous; and grown up too!!!
I can hardly wait until Grace is old enough to go to the braid shop!
By the way, my kids love "Maya and Miguel". If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend taking Kerri up on the free DVD.
