I can ABSOLUTELY vouch for Pickeled Okra. While okra in general and the pickeled variety in particular may be an affront to a refined, East Coast palate, it is nevertheless a wonderful snack. Now that you mention it, those attending a certain Bible Study on Friday 12/15 will get a chance to sample this taste treat unless I eat the whole jar before the guests arrive...

Okra pickles might taste good with yellow mustard. I wonder if Oprah likes Okra.

I can't believe I spelled "pickle" wrong. Talk about your affronts to your East Coast Palates! Sometimes my English isn't so goodly...
I prefer fried, sauteed or twice baked okra but the pickled tickle my fancy too, once in a blue moon.
You are all so funny and sweet and you lift my spirits just by being yous (hey-I didn't leave NY grammar totally unscathed!)
Do they eat Okra in Oklahoma?
You mean Okrahoma?
Oh Oh Oh Who's that kid eatin Okra in Okrahoma......
I think I have an aunt Okra somewhere around here...
I have to say I had no idea pickled okra would be such a topic of conversation...one never knows...do one?!
